The fourth edition of “Ambria Jazz 2012” was held this morning, in the Edil Bi conference room. Ambra Jazz 2012 is an event which proposes the best Italian and International artists to the public of Valtellina.
Ambria Jazz 2012 is organised by the Municipality of Piateda as primary entity in collaboration with the Fortemente Cultural Association together with the Municipality of Sondrio, the Municipality Montagna in Valtellina, Municipality of Chiuro, Municipality of Bormio, Municipality of Lanzada, Municipality of Castione Andevenno, the Pro Valtellina Foundation, the Montagna in Valtellina Cultural Foundation, the Credito Valtellinese Foundation, the Mountain Community of Valtellina di Sondrio, the Province of Sondrio, the Lombardy Region, the BIM Sondrio Consortium, di Sondrio, Parco delle Orobie, Sondrio Tourism Consortium and Valmalenco Cariplo Foundation, the Ministry for Youth and with ENEL Green Power and Edil Bi as main sponsors.
Besides being one of the main sponsors of the event, Edil Bi is glad to grant availability of its big square of Via Ventina in Sondrio, for the concert entitled “Jazz from Scandinavia” which will be held on 14th July at 2100 hours and which will host internationally renowned Scandinavian musicians JUCCA ESKOLA S.TET from Finland and OLA KVERNBERG TRIO from Norway. This will be an occasion to listen to music of high quality in an evening which we augur can repeat the success of the concert which was held on 8th June denominated "Scossa Elettrica in Concert".
For the occasion, an important photographic exhibition will be set up at the exhibition space of Edil Bi and it will be open to the public as from 1930 hours. The photographic exhibition will host lovely photos in black and white by the photographer Pietro Redaelli of Missaglia, featuring world famous jazz players from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
The concert will be held even in the case of rain.
